Eight different ways into the season.

Creative ImmersionsA French designer placed inside a Mexican workshop, for a residency.A residency program between France and Mexico running since 2023. The method is slow on purpose: a French designer is placed with a craft workshop and stays long enough to learn the trade rather than commission it. This edition shows six of those pairings in the house Barragán built for himself before he was Barragán.October 6 to 25Casa Ortega2 eventsVision and TraditionDesigners from Mexico and Chile who went to live inside the workshops.Residencies that send contemporary designers into craft workshops around the country and show the result in the curved hall of the Museo Nacional de Antropología. Chile comes in as guest country, so the collaborations cross two Latin American scenes. What is being tested is what survives of a tradition when someone trained elsewhere handles it.October 8 to November 1Museo Nacional de Antropología1 eventsPRINTGraphics, illustration and type, picked by a jury. The one room of the season that is all paper. Third edition, curated around the Global South, which pushes the selection away from the usual European reference points. Everything on the wall came through an open international call and a jury that also hands out a prize.October 8 to 31G.56 Hub Creativo3 eventsDesign HouseA whole house handed to interior designers, room by room.Every year the season takes a house and gives its rooms to interior designers and architects, who build them at full scale with real furniture, finishes and light. It is the most visited piece of the program and the one that behaves least like a museum: the rooms are habitable and the objects are available. It changes address each edition, so the house itself is part of the brief.October 9 to November 1Design House · Palmas 13051 eventsDesign DealersThe brands inside Design House, plus their own showrooms open across the city.It works both ways: a fixed venue inside Design House, where pieces sit in the rooms the interior designers built and every object carries a code leading to its maker, plus dozens of their own showrooms opening for a few days each. The rest of the year those spaces are appointment-only offices. Here they open, bring out the new collection and let you handle it.October 9 to November 1Design House · Palmas 130522 eventsBespoke CollectionLarge author pieces, commissioned for this edition.New this edition. A selection of designers with larger-format pieces, built to be the focal point of a room rather than one more object inside it. It has no venue: each piece shows where its author decides.October3 venues3 eventsInéditoEverything here is being shown for the first time.Twelve years of the platform where Mexican utilitarian design and art object get tested in public before anyone has decided what they are worth. It rewards biomaterials, reuse and manufacturing experiments, and puts professional studios next to design schools without softening the comparison. It runs longest: still open when everything else has come down.October 10 to January 10Espacio CDMX1 eventsDesign ToursThe loose circuit: workshops, pop ups, cocktails and walks across the city. The parallel agenda, scattered across the city with no venue of its own. This is where the artisan workshops land, the two-day pop ups, the talks, the anniversary cocktails and the screenings. It is what goes fastest and repeats least: most of it lasts one afternoon.October 1 to November 110 venues11 events
