The press calls it Glamarama because of who lies on it. What almost nobody knows is that Sydney's first amusement park was here: the Bondi Aquarium opened in 1887 with a rollercoaster that ran the length of the beach, then Wonderland City replaced it in 1906, modelled on Coney Island.
