THE TAKE

Built between 1890 and 1892 and the only Victorian shopping arcade left in Australia with its original form intact. John B. Spencer designed it after the European arcades, with eighty shopfronts over a hundred metres, and it was one of the first places in Sydney with electric light. Dinosaur Designs is inside.
