Shelley Simpson taught herself to throw and now runs fourteen stores around the world, all of them selling porcelain still made by hand in Sydney from clay shipped in from Limoges. Nineteen colours, mixed in house. It goes in the oven and the dishwasher, which for something this thin is the surprising part.
