Paul Geshos founded Mecca in 2005 and was doing direct trade and light roasting years before it was normal here. The Alexandria roastery is a big room with high ceilings, long timber tables and terrazzo, a garden out the back, and a public cupping every Saturday at ten that anybody can walk into.
