Named after Kahisakan, the first kissaten that opened in Tokyo in 1888, and tucked into the lobby of a heritage building on Kent Street. They roast their own from Colombia, Brazil and Kenya. By day it is coffee, matcha and the viral black sesame cloud. By night it becomes a tea and coffee cocktail bar.
WHY IT’S WORTH IT
1Named after the first kissaten in Tokyo, from 1888, and it earns the name.
2They roast their own, which most café-bars do not.
3Tea and coffee cocktails at night in the same room.
