It doubled in size in 2022 with a second building called Naala Badu, which means seeing waters, designed by Sejima and Nishizawa in their first Australian project. General admission is free. It is now the most important place in the city for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander art.
WHY IT’S WORTH IT
1Free, and free into a building by Pritzker winners on their first Australian project.
2The most significant collection of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander art in the city.
3Two buildings connected by landscape, so half the visit happens outdoors.
