SHIBUI
THE TAKE
A small cafe on Jalan Pura Masuka in Ungasan, on the inland side of the Bukit where almost nothing is, with a name that in Japanese means beauty with nothing extra on it.
WHY IT’S WORTH IT
1Named after the Japanese idea of beauty through restraint, and it holds to it.
2In Ungasan, the inland half of the Bukit where almost nothing is.
3Small and short listed, so nothing on it is filler.
